Quick video on how I use my post workout spray. 💦

Yesterday was leg day, I rushed home, took a fast shower, washed my face, and did my makeup this routine. My hair wasn't as soaked as cardio days, but this is good for any sweaty workout. Most days, I do the spray step before I get in the shower, but for video purposes, I wanted to show the whole process.

This was already day 3 hair, and I can get at least 1 more, maybe 2, depending on how dirty it gets today.

Okay, who else loves to work out but hates to wash their hair? Or doesn't have the time? Dry shampoo just doesn't cut it when it comes to heavy, sweaty hair. Well, guess what, I HAVE THE PRODUCT THAT DOES!

I have been testing this product for the last 3.5 months, and it's my go-to. I use it daily 🙌 and the best part, it's still has at least 30% of the bottle left. So easily lasts 4 to 5 months or longer based on your workout regimen.

I'm sharing with you two different workout days, 1 cardio and 1 strength where my hair got pretty darn nasty. Sweaty all around the hairline, especially the nape. I blowdry the root area, getting all the wetness gone, and if needed, then go in with a dry shampoo for volume and to refresh the overall style. Then I go in with hot tools if desired.

Every year on this day, I try to think of the words to describe how insane it is that I have come this far. How much fun I have year after year. How many amazing clients I have. The ones who have stuck with me through it all, when I was still just a baby stylist at my first salon before I took the leap to be on my own. Since then, I have gained so many new amazing clients and grown so much in my business.

Being a business owner is not easy. It's a lot of work. It may seem "small" in the scheme of things not having employees or a big location. However, I pour hours and hours into my salon when I'm not with a client. But I love being busy and doing it all. A client this week told me something that really stuck with me and made me feel so much better about myself. I struggle with ADHD, and she does as well. She said, "it's not a bad thing it's your super power". She's right, it does help me juggle all of the things, from salon to personal life.

But doing all of it feels so good. It's so rewarding to see all my hard work and dedication towards something flourish and grow. I have moved locations once and have been in my space at sola for the last 5 years. It's perfect. It's my little slice of heaven that I share with my guests. I can make it my own, make changes, and upgrades. Bring in new things when I want. I love it.

Having my chair filled day after day with different clients, sharing different stories, and having different hair is the best part. My job NEVER bores me. Of course, I get tired just like most people. Standing and using your arms all day is pretty physically demanding. But the heart of it never gets old. I love hearing all the stories my clients share with me. I have watched children grow up and go to college. I have watched single women get married and have kids. I've heard the sad stuff, too, and of course some gossip. But let's be honest, that's probably everyone's favorite part of story time with their hair dresser, right?

I truly look forward to every day and what each client will bring to my chair. Thank you to everyone who has supported me. It means so much to my family and I.

We were able to blur out her root grow out line with some fresh foils in the partline followed by a full head of hand painted ends to get rid of all the brass from previous coloring.
